- Why can you not give me an instant price?
- Two things have to be true before a price is real: the tyre has to fit your vehicle, and it has to be available from our suppliers at the cost we based the price on. Trade stock and prices move during the day, so we check both and then send you a confirmed price rather than an estimate that changes later.
- Does my registration tell you my tyre size?
- Not reliably. The free vehicle record does not include tyre sizes, and cars of the same model are sold with different wheel and tyre combinations. That is why we ask for the size or a photograph of the sidewall as well, and why a person checks it before we approve your quote.
- When do I pay?
- After we approve your quote. We send a secure, time-limited payment link, and your card details are handled by our payment provider rather than by us. Reserving before that point is free and commits you to nothing.
- Why is the payment link time-limited?
- Because the price behind it depends on supplier availability and cost at the moment we checked. Rather than let a stale price expire into a problem, the link lapses and we recheck and requote. That protects you from paying for something we can no longer supply at that price.
- What happens if the tyres are out of stock after I pay?
- We tell you. You can either accept an alternative that we have checked and priced, or take a full refund. We will not quietly substitute a different tyre without your agreement.
- Is fitting included in the price?
- It is when you choose fitting, and we state on every quote whether the figure includes fitting or delivery. A fitted quote covers the tyres, the fitting, valves and balancing, and disposal of your old tyres.
- Can you deliver to me instead?
- Where the size, quantity and destination qualify, yes. Single budget tyres often do not, because carrier costs for a bulky item can approach the value of the tyre. We check your specific order and tell you before you pay.
- Do you fit tyres I bought elsewhere?
- Not at the moment. Our fitting capacity is committed to tyres we supply, which is also what lets us take responsibility for the whole job.
