We will also confirm the tyre size before approving your quote.
Upload a tyre photo if you would rather we read the sidewall for you.
Sizes we currently focus on
We can quote for other sizes on request. These are the sizes we hold the most supplier pricing evidence for at the moment, so quotes for them are usually fastest.
205/55 R16
One of the most common sizes on UK roads, fitted to many family hatchbacks and saloons.
225/45 R17
A popular size on larger family and performance-trim cars.
225/40 R18
A performance size we currently focus on for local fitted pairs and sets.
Where to find your tyre size
Your tyre size is moulded into the sidewall of your current tyres, and is often printed on a sticker inside the driver's door frame or in your handbook. It looks like 205/55 R16 91V, where 205 is the width in millimetres, 55 is the sidewall height as a percentage of that width, 16 is the wheel diameter in inches, and 91V describes the load and speed rating.
If the tyres currently on your car are the wrong size, matching them would repeat the mistake, so we check your size against the vehicle rather than copying what is fitted.
Why we confirm before quoting
A registration alone does not reliably tell us your tyre size. Vehicles of the same model are sold with different wheel and tyre combinations, and wheels are often changed during a car's life. So we ask for the size or a photograph of the sidewall, then a person checks it before we approve a quote.
We also recheck supplier availability at that point, because trade stock moves during the day. That is why a quote is confirmed rather than instant.
Reserving is free. No payment is taken until we confirm the fitment, the availability and your complete price.
